Dr. Melidona was raised in a Christian home and felt the call of God into ministry while a Junior in high school. Dr. Melidona has a doctorate in Worship Studies from the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies, Jacksonville FL, his Masters Degree in Music from Youngstown State University, Ohio, and his BA from Northwest University, Kirkland, WA. Dr. Melidona is an ordained minister and keyboard worship leader. He is an experienced choral and orchestral conductor, and is a songwriter and arranger. He has excellent communication, interpersonal mentoring, and motivational skills. He loves working with students in the classroom as well in online distance education settings. Dr. Melidona enjoys recruitment and development of various music ensembles and ministry teams. In addition he is an experienced music educator in all grade levels. He is proficient in music projection software, administration, computer skills Italian, and German.He has been Principal Clarinetist with the Washington Wind Symphony, Seattle, WA, First Clarinet in Central Oregon Community Band, a studio music instructor in locations including Illinois, Oregon, Washington, Rhode Island, Ohio and Canada. Dr. Melidona has ministered by performing weddings, funerals, and counseling with families for over 30 years. He has over 20 years of classroom music education experience.
