Dr. Robby J. Kagarise has served in pastoral ministry for over twenty years. He is a Vinson Synan Distinguished Graduate of Regent University (Ph.D.; 2012). Prior to his doctoral work, he graduated from Evangelical Seminary (M.A.R.; 2001) and Jimmy Swaggart Bible College (B.A.; 1991). He is author of Paul’s Charismatic Imperatives (Journal of Pentecostal Theology Supplement Series 43; 2014). Dr. Kagarise has served with SUM since 2013 as an adjunct professor (2013-2016, 2019-2010), assistant academic dean (2016-2017), and undergraduate faculty chair (2017-2019). His primary areas of teaching and study are Pauline theology and literature, biblical interpretation, and Pentecostal-charismatic theology. He has been married to Julia A. Kagarise for twenty-five years. Together they have one daughter, Hannah.
