SUM Bible College and Theological Seminary has always been committed to providing a powerful, Spirit-filled theological education around the globe.  Our primary aim is to assist our students worldwide in responding to and being equipped for the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ.

At our school, we admit students in the fall, winter and spring trimesters. In order to be officially admitted, each applicant must complete an application packet and receive a letter of admission. Applicants meeting admission requirements are considered without regard to race, color, creed, sex, or physical limitations. A high value is placed upon applicants who express a clear call to ministry.

Undergraduate Program

Bachelor of Arts in Theology and Ministry/
Bachelor of Arts in Worship and Music
Goal
To equip students for effective ministry through academic instruction combined with hands-on ministry and personal mentorship that help students attain a fundamental grounding in Biblical Studies.

BACHELOR OF ARTS IN THEOLOGY AND MINISTRY

The Bachelor of Arts in Theology and Ministry (BATM) degree is a three-year degree offered for the purpose of equipping students for effective ministry through academic instruction combined with hands-on ministry and personal mentorship that help students attain a fundamental grounding in biblical and theological studies.

Learning Outcomes

  1. Prepare students for vocations as pastors, missionaries, evangelists, and teachers.
  2. Offer a specialization in biblical interpretation and theology with a view toward social transformation.
  3. Strengthen the student’s biblical foundation and spiritual formation process.
  4. Foster academic excellence, spiritual fervor, passion for reaching the lost and equipping the church.
  5. Provide mentoring for students to mature emotionally, mentally, spiritually and vocationally.
  6. Prepare students for relevant and biblically authentic ministry leadership in diverse cultures and settings.
  7. Prepare students to work collaboratively as part of a leadership structure.
  8. Develop a desire in students for lifelong learning.

BACHELOR OF ARTS IN WORSHIP AND MUSIC (Not available in all International Locations)

The BAWM is a three-year degree that prepares future ministry leaders with musical proficiency in the tradition of music conservatories, along with a biblical-theological education that cultivates servant leaders in the context of practical ministry experience and personal mentorship. Graduates are prepared to serve the Church in worship and music ministry, or continue with graduate-level education in worship and music studies.

Master of Arts In Christian Leadership
Goal
The MACL program is designed for (1) men and women called to leadership roles or positions in a local church setting, para-church organizations, or the marketplace, and (2) those who are currently in leadership roles who are seeking to enhance their leadership skills both theologically and practically. The program provides students with a solid understanding of Biblical leadership principles and strategies, while preparing them to serve in leadership positions.

Master of Arts in Christian Leadership

The Master of Arts in Christian Leadership (MACL) is a graduate theological education program designed for (1) men and women called to leadership roles or positions in a local church setting, para- church organizations, or the marketplace, and (2) those who are currently in leadership roles who are seeking to enhance their leadership skills both theologically and practically. The program provides students with a solid understanding of Biblical leadership principles and strategies, while preparing them to serve in leadership positions.
Master of Divinity
Goal
The MDiv specializes in biblical interpretation and Christian theological heritage with a view towards building the Kingdom of God impacting culture and society. MDiv students should be able to defend and articulate the Christian ethical and theological system, produce scholarly biblical and theological research, and integrate these principles in all aspects of ministry leadership, development and administration and theological research.

MASTER OF DIVINITY

The Master of Divinity program at SUM Bible College and Theological Seminary equips Christian leaders in the charismatic-pentecostal faith for their fivefold callings as apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors or teachers. The program forms leaders for the present global Christian movement. The MDiv is the degree for senior Christian leaders and those who seek deep and broad understanding of Christian faith and church leadership to guide the church in the 21st century.
