LUX is Latin for Light! LUX Church is set in the center of Richmond, VA (RVA), the most historic city in America! In 1865 the city burned to the ground and we are believing that Richmond will burn again but this time with the fire of God! Those whom attend SUM RVA at LUX Church can be excited to know that from the birth place of this nation God is raising up an army that will change not only America but the Nations.

What to expect

Students can expect adequate space provided to fulfill their student ministry and life requirements. Moreover our team values the Joy that is experienced in community. Students can expect to encounter intentional opportunities to build and grow relationships that we pray will last a lifetime.

Our Core Values

4. We will do anything short of sin to reach people who don’t know Jesus. (to reach people no one is reaching, we’ll have to do things no one is doing)

5. We will be generous (it is more blessed to give than to receive)

6. We laugh hard, loud and often (Nothing is more fun than serving God with People)

7. We are spiritual contributors not consumers (the church does not exist for us, we are the church and we exist for the world)

8. We will honor Christ and His Church with integrity. (if we live with integrity nothing else matters. if we don’t live with integrity nothing else matters)
